Weather: April, still; Soon May

I thought it might be fun to:
repeat the following three weather sayings
and test those, in our own experience,
for truth.

1a. 'Til April's dead,
change not a thread!

1b. Has April 2006 brought us days in
which to shiver?
and days in which to bask?

2a. April weather:
Rain and sunshine,
both together. - 1898

Some folks, no doubt, had rain, and sun.
I wonder how many days we, in this locale, had snow?

3a. The month that comes in good
will go out bad. - 1898

Anyone want to join me to watch how
May comes in? and note on a calendar?
then check the nature of June's arrival?

Today, showers were predicted. I saw, however there was wind
at hand. I reminded myself: " Wind before rain, not much rain."
No rain seemed to fall in my yard. Was there rain in your yard?

As I wrote before:

Whether it's cold
or whether it's hot,
We shall have weather,
whether or not.
