Thirty spokes share the wheel's hub;
It's the center hole that makes it useful.
Shape clay into a vessel;
It's the space within that makes it useful.
Cut doors and windows for a room;
It is the holes that make it useful.
Therefore profit comes from what is there;
Usefulness from what is not there.
Tao Te Ching, ch. 11
INTERIM
While I am looking through my writings for something to blog, or waiting for an idea to arrive, how about it if you nice readers would find a pen or a pencil and challenge your mind and memory.
Make a list of everything you can say "yes" to:.
THINGS SEEN
THINGS HEARD
THINGS FELT
The above activity turned up as scribbles on a
very old piece of paper in one of my bags of writing.
When it gets daylight, I'm going to play, too.
Be back back soon;
before the full moon?
