Do we have any regrets this day? Is there anything we have left undone? Did we forget to smile today? Have we taken notice of gifts that have come to us spiritually? If not, let us take notice! We have the gift of: Our memory! Our warm bodies! Our senses! Our mobility.

Do we realize fully the gifts we have that we cannot provide for ourselves? air to breathe and our breath, our mind and thoughts that come to us, day and night, the seasons, a world to live in, people to live with, the abilities we have, at every age, a voice so we may communicate with others, pets to share our world with, food that grows for us, feelings.

The Creator gives every creation a voice: trees whisper, brooks babble, dogs bark, cats meow. We, too, are given a whole range of sounds.... wow!, so many to choose from: laughter, tears, growling (no growling please, growling is for doggies) cooing, whispering ......

PRACTICE LOVING!

I listened to a wise person on a DVD:
Prem Rawat, a spiritual leader
from India, spoke a
most important truth,
I hope I always remember.

Rawat said, and we know that already:
" Whatever we do consistently
and over time, we get good at."
Rawat reminded us again of
the old saying
" Practice makes perfect."

Rawat spoke then, about
the act of complaining. He said,

"Whatever we practice, we become good at
If we complain about this, and about that,
soon we become so good at complaining,
we complain about everything!"
