The Creator and Supply

In a 1988 letter, I wrote of the supply that the Creator provides for all that He has created. That Truth holds today and, I expect, will always be present.

At this moment, when I looked out my front window, I saw a "neighbor" at dinner. A squirrel, on a portion of my lawn from which the snow had melted, had found a morsel of food. A squirrel at dinner pleases me. I am reminded anew that God provides nourishment in food for outdoor ones as well as nourishment in thoughts and ideas for each of His created.

I may not know of the wonderful thoughts that our Creator has given to others. Nevertheless, God's supply for my needs, has been bountiful.

I am grateful to be on friendly terms with other lives whom The Creator has created: the trees, the wild creatures and the native plants; the skies, the stars, and the moon, too, in its rounds.

What a blessing it is, as 2008 arrives, to know that we, as all others of God's created, remain in the Creator's Presence and care.
