The Tree of Life

And so God provided the Law, the Torah,
about which it is said,

“All His ways are pleasantness,
all His paths are peace.
It is a tree of life to all
who hold fast to it,” (Proverbs 3)

and so at the other end of the garden is the Tree of Life.

According to the New Oxford Annotated Bible:
It is Wisdom
who is the Tree of life.

God is the ultimate Wisdom. The new Oxford Bible calls Wisdom “she".

“She" is a tree of life to all who lay hold to her.”

Proverbs 3: 13, 17, 18

13. Happy are those who find
wisdom,
And those who get
understanding.

17. Her ways are ways of
pleasantness,
and all her paths are peace.

18. She is a tree of life to
those who lay hold of her;
Those who hold her fast are
called --
happy.
