A tremendous Truth has become clear to me. Whatever has been created must have had a Creator. Not a single entity can create itself.
Thus a seed, whether it is one of a plant, of a creature, or of a human being, has been created. Every life has been created to have value, and for a purpose. A Creator wouldn’t create something without value.
Even in our activity, as human beings, our creations are a positive act. We seek to bring into being, something in which there will be value, whether we’re following a recipe for a dinner dish, writing a letter to a friend, making a drawing, thinking of a game to play with a child, or planning an outing.
Our creations have value, because they are born from ideas. Ideas come to us freely, as gifts from our Creator. One spiritual Host or Hostess is the benefactor of all life and of the universe.
If we agree that one Creator creates all that is, there can be no such thing as a weed, that is, a plant without value. Every life is created for a purpose. The seeds of plants feed creatures on the ground and also feed birds who come from the skies. Pollen in clover becomes honey.
If clover is no longer available, where will bees find pollen to make honey? In the summer, I sit in my yard and watch bees at work. My bare feet touch the earth and nestle in the bee’s clover, and mine. I’m happy to have plants that support the lives of my fellow creatures.
We folk of larger size, value generosity. If we think about it, we’ll want to create a wild place in our yards. Nature’s plants, then, will be present to add to the lives we live among. God's plantings keeps safe the balance of life, essential to all of life.
As we respect the lives we live among, our minds and our hearts will become contented. Contentment will sing its quiet song in us, and we will hear the music.
