ARRIVAL OF WILD GEESE

Yesterday, above trees in my yard, I saw a flock of wild geese fly across the sky, then descend and land in a large school yard. For a number of years, in Spring, and with admiration. I have watched geese find again a summer home. What a long way from the South the geese have to journey!

How generous it is of the Creator to arrange for geese to fly in flocks. Well, we human folk live as a group in families, too, and in some of our homes, so do pets.

The way North, and the summer place to which the geese will fly, must be held in the memory of the geese's leaders. Creatures of the air and land carry no maps, but to find their way, they surely must have markers of their own.

Welcome back, wild geese! Your annual return to our town, and from the far-distant South is a wonderful accomplishment! How blessed is each life to have a Loving Guide for its needs, and for all of life.
