Madeleine Barnhart Manson

Today, September 26, is the birthday of my late Mother, Madeleine Barnhart Manson. An astounding thought about my Mother has come to me today.

I said this morning, "Happy birthday, Mother, wherever you are."

Almost immediately a thought about Mother, came to me. I said, "Mother, Mahlon once said to me, "Our Mother didn't go away! She is still with us!"

"Mahlon was right. Mother, you are no longer in my sight, but your presence, your teachings, your zest for life, your presence, remain close to me!

"It's wonderful that the Full moon is at hand tonight, also. You and I can celebrate your favorite activity at Full moon time.

" Every month, in Terre Haute, Indiana, divorced young people, visited you at Full moon time. You suggested that the young people might enjoy the child's play of howling at the moon. In time, and with you, the young folk found comfort and were healed of sorrow."

"I am grateful to have learned today, Mother, that you and I, in mind and spirit, "will always be in touch!"
