This and That

Large Snow flakes:

Every day, wise sayings that I received from my late husband, come to mind. A few days ago, snow arrived in our town. As I watched the snow flakes flutter down. I said to myself, "Aha! Large flakes: the falling snow will last only for a short time." That weather wisdom proved true once again. Also, the small amount of snow that did fall, melted quickly.

Have to sneeze?
My late husband, again, gave me a hint. He said, "If you feel as if you are going to sneeze, look up at a light that is turned on. The sneeze will come promptly.

"Surely shrimp swim."
No doubt, but
can you say that phrase quickly three times,
and get it right?

Treat shoes nicely
they, too, have soles.

That little "ha ha" just suggested itself.

We hear
"Make haste while the sun shines."
but then we hear
"Haste makes waste."
so which course should we follow?

Will The Account Below Surprise You?

Please know that on March 17, 1993, technicians at
St. Jerome's Hospital in Batavia, NY
tested a bowl of Jell-O with an EEG machine and confirmed
the earlier testing of Dr. Adrian Upton:
"A bowl of wiggly Jell-O has brain waves identical
to those of adult men and women." Ha!
