Quite awhile ago, I received mail that asked me to pray, at 9 p.m. every night. I was asked to pray that Americans, in warring places, will be kept safe. I sent the mail to my daughter, Jean. She answered and said, "No! We should pray every day that all of the world's people will be kept safe!
I long that all of us in our family of nations might pray together: "Dear God, Wake our minds and hearts and those of people everywhere to seek peace. Guide us all, God, on a just path into a future where love is."
