The Sum of what we learn
My brother says:
We are the sum of what we learn from birth on. That includes what we are taught, formally or informally, what we observe and what we read. The legacy that we leave on earth is what we teach formally or informally as we go about our lives, and what we write, draw, garden, plant, nurture. Some of us voluntarily or involuntarily don’t leave our genes to carry forward, and for those of us like me, who don’t, we must leave our legacy in different ways so that we live on in future generations.
