For Every Drop of Rain

I believe that activity originates with God. For every drop of rain that falls, there is a probability that a flower will grow. A seed probably can’t break itself open. God is the beginning. John 1 states, “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” God calls to each of His creations: “Wake.” “Grow.” “Flower.” “Fruit!”

I have the extravagant belief that even with my faults, God loves me. God calls me to His side, as I am, and for His purposes. God’s inaudible voice calls to my quiet heart, “Child, It’s time to wake and it's time to grow.”

God is ever seeking a dormant one, a life ready to burst from its cloister. Jesus looked for needy ones in all parts of society. He brought solace to the downtrodden, to women of the streets, and to others with need. To each of us, for our needs, God provides the manna that gives us life.

“Come to me,” says God. “Learn that Love not only blesses others, but blesses you, as well.” I claim for myself, the promises of God that Jesus has taught us: “God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that ye having all sufficiency, may abound to every good work.” 2nd Corinthians : 9: 8.

God leads us beyond the world’s demands and sadness. He guides us to refreshment and renewal. He leads us to Himself.

With God, I am a child, dancing along a path, enjoying the sunshine. As an adult, I find God to be the Source of all good: of sight, of mobility, of life, of having a world to live in.

As a child, I don’t need to name my feelings. But when their music comes, my childish feet will dance that joy, and my heart will tell everyone: “We are never alone. God, as He promises, is beside us. Dance!
Dance with joy!”
